Multiwall Paper Bags
We are largest multiwall paper bag producer in Canada and with our
aassociated companies in the United States, we are
the second largest producer of multiwall paper bags in North America. We
offer a complete line of styles printed in up to 8 colours with overlacquer:

Small Paper Bags
Our small bag operations are leaders in packaging
solutions for the pet, coffee, flour, mix and cookie markets, with cost
effective options and value added features to differentiate products from
competitors. Our full line of bag styles printed in up to 8 colours and
laminated include:

- Form & fill roll stock

Extrusion Coated and Laminated Products
We provide a broad range of high quality protective
barrier and heat sealable papers and high quality printed roll stock of
up to 106 inch web width, using high performance Canadian papers. Applications
for our products cover many different industries and products:
- Paper mill packaging
- Envelope stock
- Automotive masking paper
- Construction tube stock
- French fry packaging stock
- Sugar pouch and novelty wrap
- Grease, oil and moisture resistant roll

Plastic Packaging Products
include nylon and polyethylene films and blends, and printed and sealed
bags. Specific products covered include: industrial plastic bags; handle
bags; form, fill and seal; and films, including shingle wrap.
Industrial Plastic Bags
One of the largest producers of industrial polyethylene bags in North America,
Hood Packaging Corporation provides a complete line of bag styles employing a wide variety of
resins and blends to achieve special bag and barrier properties, all of
which can be printed in full 8 colour process, including:
- Industrial open mouth bags
- Block bottom valve bags
- Bottom seal bags
- Valve bags
- Corner seal bale bags
- Zip-zag and duplex bags

Dairy and Liquid Form, Fill and Seal film
Many different film blends and structures, both mono and multilayer, are
available for liquid filling applications. Experience with our own internally
developed 3rd generation VFFS (Vertical Form Fill and Seal)liquid filling equipment
provides strong practical knowledge when it comes to suppling a customer's own liquid
packaging requirements.
We are the first company to offer equipment and film adequate for ten litre inner bags.
We can offer multiple layer films with advanced barrier properties,
which can be printed in 8 colours.

Handle Bags
Rigid, soft die cut patch, or reinforced die cut handles are available
for all major bag types. Rigorous internal jolt testing is provided to
ensure strength specifications. Handle bags are designed for a broad range
of applications. Product may be packed at up to 180 degrees F. Film additives
and high performance inks are available to permit extended outdoor storage.

Form, Fill and Seal (FFS)
Designed to run on any FFS machine, the low seal initiation temperature,
excellent hot tack strength and wide sealing window allows our FFS to
be run at a high speed. Corona treatment is available for highly detailed
line and process print graphics. Film additives and high performance inks
are available to permit extended outdoor storage. FFS can be produced
in any PMS colour as:
Films, including Shingle Wrap
Many different polyethylene and nylon resins, blends and additives can
be produced for a wide variety of applications. Shingle wrap is one example
of advanced film production: - 1.75 mil. white opaque film with UVI, weather
resistant ink and one-sided silicone application for easy release from
shingle adhesives. This is one of many films which may also be printed
in widths of up to 140" including:
- Mono or multi-layer structures
- Sheeting & tubing
- Pallet covers
- Shrink film
- High performance films
